    Assistant Tennis Professional

    Spare Time Sports Clubs is looking for an Assistant Tennis Professional/Academy Coach. Are you a passionate, dynamic, and experienced tennis professional? Then we want you!

    Spare Time Sports Clubs is Northern California’s premier developer of private, multi-recreational sports clubs. We have a position available at our Broadstone Sports Club located in Folsom, California. The club has 20 tennis courts, all LED lighted, active USTA adult program and UTR junior program as well as the Spare Time Junior Tennis Academy.

    Overview
    Assistant Tennis Professional conducts private and group lessons for adults and juniors with part time coaching in the Spare Time Junior Academy. Our facilities offer tennis, pickleball, swimming, fitness, group exercise, massage services, and many other indoor and outdoor recreational activities and amenities for our members.

    Responsibilities

    • Work together with existing tennis pro staff
    • Be present at tennis tournaments/socials as directed by Tennis Director
    • Provide top level group and private tennis instruction for Junior and Adult players
    • Manage court usage
    • Help develop programs that attract new members
    • Maintain required stats and records
    • Be involved in the local tennis community

    Requirements

    • 5 years of teaching experience
    • Experience as a High Performance Coach
    • RSPA or PTR certifications (highest levels)
    • USTA Safe Play certified
    • CPR Certified (may be done within 60 days of hire)
    • Ability to workdays, nights and weekends, as necessary
    • Efficient in Microsoft Outlook/Word

    Start Date: As soon as possible

    Target Total Compensation:

    • Specific compensation details to be discussed during the interview process.
    • Private and group lesson hours available at start of employment.
