It doesn't rain all
across Northern California at the same time. It may be raining at your
home but not at the tournament site. It is your responsibility to
contact the tournament if it is raining. If you cannot reach the
tournament due to a busy phone line, start driving and call along the
way. Players must be at the tournament site at the scheduled match time
unless directed otherwise by either the tournament director or referee. |

Due to the fact that it is
physically and mentally exhausting to take an SAT or PSAT exam and
compete in a tournament on the same day, we do not encourage it.
However, if you have no other alternative, please try the following:
Prior to entering the
tournament or sending your SAT/PSAT application, contact the tournament
director and inform him/her of your intentions.
Send the form to SAT officials requesting
that you take the test at the site closest to the tournament.
Anyone taking a SAT exam further than 1/2 hour from the
tournament site cannot be accommodated. If the SAT does not honor your
requested site, advise the tournament director and you will receive a
full refund as long as the tournament director receives your request
before the draw is made. If you have not received confirmation from
your selected SAT site by the day the draw is made, you will not be
accommodated. It is your responsibility to notify the tournament site.
The tournament is under no obligation to accept players who are taking
the SAT. |

This rule is referred to as
the Concurrent Tournament rule. When entries close, a player shall not
be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments if any parts of the
tournaments overlap, unless each Tournament Committee involved
understands the situation and concurs in writing. If entries for the
overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be
received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing
date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to
completion may then enter.

"Out of section" and
foreign players may apply to enter Open, Challenger or Novice
tournaments only. They are not eligible to enter the USTA NorCal Junior
Excellence, Championship or the USTA NorCal sectional tournaments.
