Congratulations, you have registered for a USTA NorCal sanctioned tournament. Now you are asking, what comes next?
Tournament Directors have adapted to the electronic age of tournament management.
This means that they will post either draws or first match times online no later than 72 hours in advance of the start of the tournament. If this deadline has passed, please contact the tournament director.
If this does not help, please contact Jason Scalese at the USTA NorCal office.
To find your draw or start time, please refer to the tournament registration page online.
You will find either a draw or first match time link. Click on that and search for your name in your respective category.
It is very important to note that players are responsible for obtaining their own start times, and while a tournament should inform you if your start time changes, it is best that you look back at the draw again right before the tournament starts as times are subject to change for any number of reasons.
Tournament directors should post either directions or an address for their tournament online. Please print these directions out before you leave for your match. Take the tournament phone number with you in the event you are delayed while on the road.
Tournaments are not obligated to accomodate a player who is running late, but you should call regardless.
Always try to show up a little early for a tournament, remember, in NorCal you are late if you are not ready to play at the scheduled match time.
When the tournament is completed, check online to be sure the results are updated correctly, if not, contact the tournament director.
Results on a player's personal page at the NorCal site may take up to two weeks to update.
Please complete an online evaluation form and let USTA NorCal know how you enjoyed your tournament experience. |
