USTA NorCal uses a points per round ranking system in which points are awarded based on a "top-down" Points Per Round ranking system. Different lists have different methods of counting these points. The amount of points you receive is based on the round to which you advance, no longer the size of the draw. The same point tables are used for all adult ranking lists based on Points Per Round. For example, the winner of an NTRP tournament would receive 1000 points in a draw of 32, as would the winner of a draw of 16.
